About Me
My name is Michelle Nana Yaa De-Veer, a data analyst, prospective lawyer, and civic-minded professional working at the intersection of customer service, innovation, and governance.
As a Client Relations and Technical Support expert,I work to oversee service delivery, optimize user experiences, and ensure efficiency in digital governance. Over the past three years, I’ve been at the frontline of citizen engagement, witnessing firsthand how smart digital policy can empower people or even exclude them. This has shaped my growing interest in how technology can be better governed to serve all.
My transition into law is driven by a passion for justice, innovation, and governance. I believe that the intersection of technology, data, and law holds the key to shaping Ghana’s legal and financial landscapes.
My long-term goal is to contribute to a robust legal and regulatory environment that fosters ethical innovation. I am particularly interested in how digital tools can be governed to promote transparency, protect users, and improve access, especially in areas like public service delivery and citizen engagement platforms.
Beyond work, I am actively involved in youth diplomacy, SDG advocacy, and leadership initiatives. As a Young Diplomat of Ghana (YDG) Delegate and an advocate for SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure), I am committed to driving development through strategic policymaking and legal frameworks.
Outside my professional endeavors, I am a creative writer and performing arts enthusiast, scripting plays and teaching dance to inspire and educate. Committed to youth development, I volunteer as a weekend teacher for children aged 10-17, fostering discipline, creativity, and critical thinking through mentorship.
